Tasting Notes
Natural coloring.
The color is a luminous copper with auburn highlights.
Fat tears are present and indicate a gentle and methodical distillation respecting the characteristics of the raw material.
The nose is generous and announces a whisky of great richness. We find notes of liquorice and roasted nuts as well as notes of fruit (grape, blackcurrant, blackberry), accompanied by a touch of spices (pepper, star anise).
On the palate, the smoothness is there, with complex and varied flavors: raisin, apricot, date, pecan nut. The influence of the barrels of the 2 appellations is felt with a touch of vanilla accompanied by a hint of black coffee at the end of the mouth.
This whisky has a long and ample finish.
