Les Vignes d’Autefois was disgorged in December 2021, produced from a single four-tonne press of grapes from old vines(100% old-vine Meunier), planted between 1947 and 1964.
The wine has aged for seven months in the barrel, followed by 30 months on lees in the bottle.
Assemblage : 100 % Pinot Meunier.

TASTING NOTES
With a low dosage of three grams per litre, it allows the iodine minerality of these chalky terroirs to sing through. Emblematic of the quality being achieved at Laherte today offering a wonderful balance between penetrating, spicy and fleshy red fruit and salty, racy deliciousness.
Chalky, aromatic, strong minerality, a pleasant saltiness, with citrus notes.
Laherte Frères is the definition of what a grower Champagne can be.
One of the finest Meunier bottlings of Champagne.
